🌸Synonyms for Japanese ceramics
The hometown of Lucky Cat--Seto Yaki
✨Seto-yaki is the general name for ceramics produced in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture and its surrounding areas. Originating in the Kamakura period, it is also one of the six ancient kilns in Japan, with a history of 1,300 years. In 1977, Seto Ware was designated as a traditional Japanese craft by the Japanese government, and in 2017 it was listed as a "Japanese Heritage". It was also the first place to start making glazed pottery and ceramic Lucky Cats, and is known as the hometown of Lucky Cats. In Japanese, "Seto Mono" is a synonym for ceramics, which shows its breadth and representativeness.
