Caramelized Onion Jam
1. Melt butter in a pot over medium heat, then add onions.
2. Slowly caramelize the onions for about 40 minutes, stirring with a spatula every 3-5 minutes.
3. Once the onions are caramelized, add a pinch of salt.
4. Add one to two tablespoons of chicken broth at a time, stirring well with a spatula.
5. Stir the onions for another minute, ensuring they are browned, then remove from heat.
