Deifilia
Romantic earrings in the color of the deep sea.
We deliberately selected natural stones with unique characteristics to maximize their mineral-like beauty.
These fringe chandelier earrings feature two types of kyanite (standard blue in a normal cut, and blue-green in a plain pear shape) and iolite.
Kyanite is known for its distinctive parallel "mineral streaks," which are rough lines running vertically within the stone.
Its intricate structure makes jewelry making challenging, and despite its aesthetic appeal, it's a semi-precious stone rarely found in the market.
For lovers of gems, natural stones, and minerals, these stones offer a beauty reminiscent of flowing rivers and waterfalls.
Iolite displays a beautiful, deep indigo hue, as if ink has been dissolved within it. However,
when viewed from an angle rotated by 90 degrees, it transforms into a brownish color.
This characteristic also increases the difficulty of cutting, making it another rare semi-precious stone to work with.
To capture the essence of the deep sea's colors, we've entrusted these expressive blue gemstones to create luxurious chandelier earrings.
Please enjoy the diverse expressions of blue presented by each of these breathtaking natural stones. They are sure to become treasured pieces.
Surgical stainless steel hook ear wires.
All other metal parts are made of 14K gold-filled material.

■About Kyanite
Stone's meaning: Independence, Inquiry, Purity, Judgment
Its Japanese name, "ranshoseki," translates to blue crystal. It belongs to the same family as andalusite and sillimanite.
Unusually among silicate minerals, it possesses a beautiful characteristic that allows for faceting.
Due to its strong vertical striations in columnar crystals, it is also called disthene.
The vertical streaks, resembling bamboo fibers, are exceptionally beautiful, offering a captivating beauty that can be enjoyed by observing it from different angles.
The mineral streaks that appear on the surface may look like cracks, but these are not flaws. Please understand this as a natural characteristic of the stone.
■About Iolite
Stone's meaning: First love, Goal achievement, Compass, Judgment, Birthstone of March
It is a rhombic crystal with a hardness of 7, an aluminum silicate mineral.
It exhibits various shades of blue, including purplish-blue, blue, and brownish-blue, but it is a rare mineral that displays pleochroism, changing to a violet hue when viewed along a different axis. For this reason, it is also known by other names such as cordierite and dichroite.
Legend has it that Norse Vikings used slices of iolite as a polarizing filter to determine the sun's position for navigation. It is also known as the "Viking's compass" and is believed to be a stone that guides one correctly through life and helps correct mistakes.
[About Surgical Stainless Steel]
This is a special type of stainless steel primarily used for medical instruments.
It is designated as "316L" under JIS standards and is known for its low potential to cause metal allergies among stainless steels.
It is resistant to rust, corrosion, and heat, and does not easily discolor. It is also popular for its high strength (resistance to scratches and breakage).
