**Important Notes for Pottery Purchases:***
* Handcrafted ceramic ware may exhibit asymmetry or irregular hand-formed characteristics.
* Glaze colors can vary due to the thickness of application and firing position. Even with the same glaze, each piece will have unique variations. Minor pores in the glaze are also possible and do not affect usability.
* Detailed photos are provided for all products. Please consider carefully before ordering. Returns or exchanges based on unmet expectations are not accepted.
**Pottery Care Instructions:***
Ceramics develop a unique character with daily use. To ensure longevity, please observe the following:
* Before serving food, soak the ware thoroughly in water. This creates a barrier, reducing the absorption of food juices or oils.
* Avoid prolonged soaking after use. Wash promptly and ensure the ware is completely dry.
* Do not use directly over flame, in ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, or dish dryers.
* Clean with a soft sponge and neutral detergent.
* Fine cracks that may appear on the surface over time, known as glaze cracking or crazing, are a normal phenomenon of glaze expression.
* For first-time use, prepare a pot of rice water. Submerge the ware completely and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes. Allow to cool. The starch from the rice will fill the tiny pores, preventing stains and odors.
* This same method can be used for maintenance after a period of use.
* The foot of stoneware pieces can feel rough. We carefully smooth them before shipping, but please double-check before use and gently sand if necessary to avoid scratching surfaces.
**Pottery Packaging:***
Packaged securely with bubble wrap and a sturdy carton, making it ideal for gifts or a personal treat. For market events, we primarily use paper-based packaging or recycled materials, and we encourage you to bring your own shopping bag. For mail orders, we prioritize conservative packaging to ensure the safe arrival of your pottery. We hope you’ll consider reusing the packaging materials:)

Mountain Dwelling | Earth Vessels
For us, a day well-lived culminates in a satisfying meal. Using a beautiful vessel to hold our food, brewing a cup of tea afterward, or warming sake on a chilly evening—over time, these pieces add a delightful richness to our lives, becoming cherished companions.
Inspired by observing the vessels we use daily, the idea sparked: "Why don't we try making pottery ourselves?"
We aspire to create pottery that embodies a simple, grounded aesthetic. Pieces with just the right weight, warm to the touch when held in hand. Our lifestyle is reflected in these vessels: the comfort of a familiar tea-filled pot, a white teacup developing a beautiful patina from repeated use, a shallow, off-white plate showcasing vibrant green stir-fried vegetables, a matte black bowl making rice appear even more luminous, or a mountain-shaped bowl perfectly portioned for a delightful dessert.
Come find the perfect vessel here—a companion for your daily life, destined to be with you for a long time.
