It contains many different prayer themes, each only a brief two to three pages long, yet allows for comprehensive prayer. I discovered that as I pray for another, I seem to receive the strength of prayer myself, which I believe is the blessing of intercession🤍 Today's reading theme is "Fear." As I read, I reflected on my own fears: I think it's facing the thesis I want to complete this year. I'm very worried that I won't be able to finish it, and I'm also concerned about balancing my family and work while pursuing my studies. I've realized that fear grows the more you dwell on it. When lost in one's own imagination, the burden becomes heavier and heavier, even suffocating... It turns out I'm still very afraid of not being able to do it, and afraid of doing it poorly... But who or what makes me afraid? The scripture describes, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear." This is because God's love is perfect love. Perfect love doesn't exist in human imagination but in the real Jesus. When I pray, I can hand over my fears to Jesus, asking God to help me face the difficulties before me, grant sufficient wisdom and strength, trust in God's work, release my imagination, and lay down the burdens. I also ask Jesus to help me release the burdens concerning the relationships I care about. This isn't easy; I ask God to help us continually seek Jesus at His presence.
