Oil painting. This piece features a beautiful contrast between the central flower-like layers of color and the brown background. I embraced serendipity during the painting process and am very pleased with how the hues turned out. Up close, you can appreciate the "matière" (the physical texture of the paint), showcasing the numerous overlapping colors and delicate brushwork. Since the work does not strongly evoke any specific season, it can be displayed year-round without feeling out of place. We recommend storing it in a place with minimal fluctuations in humidity. I will do my best to assist with any maintenance needs after purchase. 22 x 22 cm (S1 size) Painted on a wooden panel prepped with a base coat. Thickness is approximately 2.5 cm. The sides are also painted, so it looks great even without a frame. The painting is lightfast, but please avoid storing it in direct sunlight. Poppy oil has been thinned with volatile oil to prevent yellowing over time. *The back is equipped with screw eyes and a string for hanging.
