Wipe with a pearl polishing cloth and allow to air dry before storing. Avoid cleaning pearls with tap water, tissues, jewelry cleaners, or ultrasonic cleaning machines. 2. Keep Pearls Clean ~ To prevent damage from chemicals in cosmetics, it's recommended to wear pearls after applying makeup. If pearls come into contact with food, beverages, perfume, cosmetics, soap, etc., wipe them clean immediately. ~ Avoid wearing pearls during: Bathing, sleeping, swimming, or cooking. Also, be mindful of prolonged exposure to direct, intense sunlight. 4. Regular Wear is Key ~ Pearls thrive on fresh air. Please wear them regularly and avoid long-term storage in sealed boxes or plastic casings. 5. Store Separately ~ Pearls have a lower hardness. Please store them individually in a jewelry box to prevent friction with harder objects. It is recommended to store them flat to avoid shape changes from prolonged hanging. 6. Regular Inspection & Maintenance ~ The silk threads of pearl necklaces can deform over time. It is recommended to have your pearl necklace re-strung annually.
