Traditional three kinds of rock glass - Glasses - Glass Red

Product Description

I redesigned and manufactured it based on the design that I had forgotten whether to commercialize it as it is while waiting for the answer of the person above during my training. It is an interesting design in which three traditional patterns of hemp leaves, chrysanthemums, and hexagonal tilings are arranged from the top while holding the elements of each other's cuts. The changes have been made ・ The hexagon was arranged to be a regular hexagon and the size was increased to make it look good. -The design is harmonized by making the boundary between the hemp leaf and the chrysanthemum joint part the same shape as a hexagon instead of a straight line. ・ I put a ring in the mouth to tighten the design. ・ The number of hemp leaves has been reduced by one step, and the claims of hemp leaves have been suppressed a little. -By making the lower part a watermark, the dark impression around the lower part was brightened and adjusted. is. The part where the chrysanthemums are connected is also cut into a hexagon. The cut of the hemp leaf at the top is the component of the cut of the chrysanthemum joint in the middle row as it is. In addition, the gentle diagonal cut of the hexagon at the bottom is the component of the chrysanthemum connection cut in the middle row. In other words, if you fuse the hemp leaf, hexagon, and Y = 2X line, you will get a chrysanthemum connection pattern. The design is that three traditional patterns have elements of mutual cuts that are adjacent to each other around the chrysanthemum connection. Only the craftsman who is cutting knows what kind of element the cut of the traditional pattern has, and it is a design of the idea that comes out only by the craftsman. Also, it is very difficult to design to connect patterns. We approach the design from a fairly mathematical point of view. I think that there are few Edo Kiriko craftsmen who make such designs in Japan. I think it is a masterpiece that combines originality with traditional design using traditional patterns. Since it is difficult to adjust at the time of cutting, it takes a lot of man-hours and the price is relatively high, but I think that it is worth it. We would appreciate it if you could consider it for yourself, as a gift, or to improve the brand image of the store. The Kiriko of our workshop is polished using the traditional method of Edo Kiriko, "hand polishing", which maintains the strength of the glass and finishes it with high quality. On the other hand, there are some things in the world that polish the glass while immersing it in an acid called "acid polishing" and melting the entire glass into pieces. Acid-polished ones have the disadvantages of being easily scratched and the color may fade, but since the man-hours can be reduced and the price can be sold at a low price, sales will improve, so many workshops and writers perform acid-polishing. We are here. Since the cut surface of our workshop is polished one by one, the original strength of the glass is not lost, and you can wash it with a detergent or scrubbing brush. Please note that boiling water, microwave ovens and dishwashers cannot be used like any other glassware. The handling method is explained in detail on the homepage of the workshop.
