We take high-quality 10mm freshwater pearls and scatter colored silver leaf over half of the surface. The silver leaf is processed using a traditional tool called a "Sunago-zutsu" (a bamboo tube with a mesh screen). The leaf is broken down into fine flakes inside the tube and then applied with a brush, creating an image of dancing cherry blossom petals. Because we use real freshwater pearls (not shell or resin pearls) and apply the foil by hand, you can enjoy a luxurious, sophisticated "adult pink." The pearls are button-shaped (slightly flattened). As simple stud earrings, they are perfect for both office wear and formal occasions.
