The "Rose Brooch" is actually miniature rose size. The "Peony Corsage" is actually a large rose size. Finally, the "Large Peony Corsage" is born! The "Peony Corsage" measures approximately 7cm (height) x 7cm (width) x 3.5cm (depth, excluding clasp), but we have received feedback that it is "too small." We are responding to the request of one customer (likely) who voted in an SNS poll in March 2022, expressing a desire to see a 10cm peony. It measures approximately 12cm in diameter and 5cm in height. While we call it "large-flowered" based on its lineage, it is the actual size of a fresh peony bloom. As shown in the first image, it is the size that comfortably fits on a tray that matches the hand size of an adult woman. The previous "Peony Corsage" is the size shown in images 7-8. Three of them would fit on the same hand-sized tray...! The petals are made of acrylic beads with a matte finish, carefully processed as with our previous floral pieces. The texture is beautiful, with a soft, internal glow reminiscent of real flowers. Petals made of clear yet firm acrylic resin are individually sewn onto felt to create the flower shape. Though we started intending to simply make the existing design slightly larger, the path to completing the "Large Peony Corsage" was not smooth. Choosing the right base was particularly challenging. The felt bases used for the "Rose Brooch" and "Peony Corsage" could not maintain their shape when lifted after sewing the petals and stamens. We finally achieved the desired form by switching to a firmer, high-quality felt designed for bead embroidery. Similar to our previous rose brooches and peony corsages, a core is attached to the back of the felt with sewn petals, and this is covered with felt to which the brooch pin is attached. Considering that many customers of Heart Bouquet tend to prefer smaller items, this size is quite substantial.
