Seaside Country House - Square Plate

Pottery, handmade, hand-painted, one-of-a-kind Length 20cm Width 23cm Height 2.5cm After applying white decorative mud to the red clay, the plates are engraved and painted to create designs of seaside fields and forests, and a single house standing in a rural area with a large bird. This plate has a handmade feel, made by roughly cutting out stretched clay freehand and raising the edges. The piece is smooth due to the glossy transparent glaze applied, but the traces of the carvings give it an uneven texture that resembles scratches. I make them as vessels to be used. *Unlike porcelain, pottery (earthenware) has a soft, warm ceramic surface. Also, there may be pinholes (holes in the glaze) or small chips in the glaze which do not affect the use of the product, but we hope that you will consider these to be part of the unique character of earthenware and add to its charm. This is the unique imperfect beauty, or charm, of earthenware. Since pottery is made from clay, when you hold it in your hands it gives a more rustic impression than it does in pictures.
