✿ Moonstone. Moonstore ✿
Known as the "gem of lovers," moonstone is the birthstone for June, symbolizing health and prosperity.
Its primary sources include Sri Lanka, the United States, Myanmar, India, and Madagascar. Moonstone appears in various hues: colorless, white, orange, and gray/black.
As a type of feldspar, moonstone forms from alternating twin layers of potassium and sodium feldspar. When exposed to light, it exhibits a unique "adularescence," a shimmering, blue sheen often referred to as the "blue moon effect."
