The Story of the Ancient Stone: White Topaz - General Rings - Other Metals Gold

Product Description

Its colorless transparency enhances the inherent texture of the metal, creating a rich, evocative aesthetic. White topaz captivates with a clarity reminiscent of rock crystal. Its hue makes it perfect for effortless, everyday wear. It possesses a presence that beautifully complements other pieces. Touching this ancient stone seems to kindle a small, warm light within the heart. Everyone finds their own unique thoughts when gazing upon such an ancient stone. By gathering and contemplating these fragments of emotion, I believe something new comes into view. This ring features a combination of white topaz and brass. It is a new addition to the "Tales of Ancient Stones" series—a collection where the transparent hue of white topaz accentuates the texture and color of the brass. The design evokes an antique or vintage feel while remaining easy and comfortable to wear. *Available in sizes 8 through 20 (in 0.5-size increments). Please be sure to include your ring size in a message when placing your order. ~Product Details~ *Metal: Brass *White Topaz: Cabochon, approx. 8 x 6 mm *Width: Approx. 1.5 mm *Thickness: Approx. 1.3 mm *Sizes: 8 to 20 (in 0.5-size increments) *Each ring features a hand-hammered finish for a textured, rustic look. ~About the Gemstone~ "Topaz" Available in a wide range of colors and possessing great hardness, topaz has long been cherished in jewelry. Its name has various origins—some theories point to the Red Sea island of "Topasion," while others suggest the Sanskrit word "topaz," meaning "fire." Although the stone's color can shift significantly due to light or heat, it is symbolically associated with sincerity. "Brass" An alloy of copper and zinc, brass initially gleams like gold. Over time, exposure to air causes a process known as "sulfidation," leading the metal to darken and develop a unique patina. Through the process of "sulfidation" (tarnishing), the piece develops a subdued, antique-like atmosphere; it is a wonderfully versatile metal that allows you to enjoy two distinct looks: the original gleaming brass and the mellow, aged finish. If the darkening or dullness bothers you, you can restore its original shine using a commercially available brass polish. You can also minimize tarnishing during daily storage by using anti-tarnish bags or keeping the item in a sealed bag alongside an anti-tarnish strip. As this metal contains a high copper content, individuals with metal allergies should exercise caution. It is a metal that offers great character and beauty, allows you to enjoy its changing appearance over time, and is reasonably priced—we hope people from all walks of life will enjoy it. Important Notes Please be aware that any issues regarding metal allergies or similar sensitivities are the customer's own responsibility. We also accept requests for resizing or repolishing. Please contact us via message first; the customer is responsible for shipping costs in these instances. Regarding the names of natural stones, we use the designations provided by our suppliers.
