Japan Made Kiryu-ori Check Fuzzy Low-Cut Sneakers

These shoes are part of our series featuring JapanMade textiles. We've incorporated "Kiryu-ori," a textile from Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture, a region with over 1300 years of weaving history. The design features a low-cut sneaker with white sides, accented by Kiryu textiles in navy green and pink purple. The top and heel are made with denim-like leather, and the strap is crafted from silver-colored leather. The fabric is voluminous, with a fine check pattern overlaid with a wavy cut, giving it a charmingly fuzzy, fluffy, and frilly texture. By combining two types of fabric—navy green and pink purple—we've created a design that reveals various expressions depending on the angle.
