Old Dutch partly-handpainted pastry plates from the "Canton" series made by Société Céramique.
This company was founded in 1859, and it got incorporated into Royal Sphinx in 1958. The Canton series was in production between 1888 and 1920. These plates are in undamaged, reasonably good condition, considering their age, with small production flaws, surface marks due to usage, as well as craquelure and discoloration due to aging.
