The bowl is painted with polychrome enamels, showcasing exquisite composition and vivid brushstrokes, with a nuanced interplay of colors that captures the essence of artistry. The outer surface extends two branches of peach blossoms from the base, bearing four peaches, displaying natural and abundant hues. One branch is adorned with gray-colored, double-layered petals in shades of green with yellow stamens, while the other branch features red-brown, single-layered petals with pink and yellow centers. The leaves between the branches are slender, curled, and in a mix of green and turquoise, creating distinct layers. Two iron-red bats flutter between the branches in the vacant space. The flower branches cross over the rim and enter the interior of the vessel, employing the "crossing branches" technique. This method became prominent from the later part of the Kangxi period and was further ingeniously utilized during the Yongzheng period, seamlessly integrating with the realistic flower and bird paintings of the Song dynasty, creating a new aesthetic style. The winding branches of the peach tree resonate with the auspicious wishes for national stability, echoing the metaphor of "long-lasting prosperity." The inner wall of the vessel depicts two peaches on the branch tips, seemingly ripe and about to fall, along with budding flowers and three bats in flight, totaling six peaches and five bats internally and externally, symbolizing "double blessings of longevity." The iron-red bats, a common motif in traditional ceramics, represent "great blessings," with the five bats phonetically corresponding to the five fortunes, conveying wishes for longevity, health, wealth, virtue, and a peaceful end.
