Soaking should not be prolonged. Hand wash or machine wash are both acceptable, but use a gentle cycle and mode. If machine washing, use a laundry bag that fits the garment snugly (avoid oversized bags, which can cause stretching). Gently wring out; excessive force can cause deformation. B.
