We recommend regular wiping and conditioning to prolong the life of the leather, especially during summer when sweating or contact with sunscreen is common. Wipe the entire leather cord with a pure water wet wipe. After it's completely dry, use a cotton cloth to evenly apply oil. This also helps remove waterproof sunscreen. 2. If the leather becomes heavily saturated with water, dry it as quickly as possible and then reapply oil for protection. Allowing it to air dry naturally can cause the leather's structure to shrink, deform, and harden. 3. To prevent dark water stains if water is accidentally splashed on the leather: use a pure water wet wipe, a damp (but not dripping) tissue, or a paper napkin to evenly wipe the entire leather surface, including the area where the water splashed. Use cool air to dry evenly. If only hot air is available, maintain a distance of at least thirty centimeters from the leather. After drying, evenly apply leather oil for maintenance. 4. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. 5. In addition to the natural warmth and oils from your hands gradually imparting a warm luster to the leather, we recommend regular wiping with a dry cloth followed by leather oil conditioning. 6. Mold spots on leather develop over time from the interaction of dust and humidity in the air. Therefore, for leather items not in use for extended periods, first wipe off dust with a dry cloth, then wrap them in a dust bag, kraft paper, or cotton cloth (cut from an old white t-shirt) and store them in a well-ventilated area. Frequent handling of leather items (to prevent dust and moisture accumulation) can also reduce the chance of mold, similar to the principle of "a rolling stone gathers no moss." 7.
