In Commemoration of the 110th Memorial Anniversary of Senior Artist Hung Jui-Lin To mark the 110th memorial anniversary of pioneering Taiwanese artist Hung Jui-Lin, Digging Light: The Art of Hung Jui-Lin centers around his donated works, complemented by important pieces from outside the museum’s collection. The exhibition showcases over 350 original artworks and archival materials, including early works from his formative Dadaocheng period, pieces influenced by Proletarian Art during his time in Japan, and rare large-scale oil paintings and sketches capturing life in the mines. Many of these works have not been seen by Taiwanese audiences in over 35 years.
