Very cute French ceramic trivet with a flat teapot shape, outside is made with metal and the middle is a square ceramic tile. We were pleasantly surprised when we found it at the flea market and turned the back then saw "Fabriqué à Taiwan", it's made in Taiwan!
It has four small round legs and can be placed flat on the dining table as a pot mat. There is a small hole in the top, which can also be hung on the wall for decoration when not in use. So what does the couple and that paragraph represent? "C'est moi le patron, c'est ma femme qui commande." It means "I am the boss, but my wife is in charge." It is like a reminder that home is a place where women are in charge. It's really a practical kitchen and dining table decoration that can add a little French humour to your home.
