[Care for Plant-Dyed and Handwoven Products] Plant-dyed products are less resistant to washing and sunlight compared to chemical dyes, and their colors will change with use. Please pay attention to the following points when caring for and using them. Color transfer or fading may occur due to friction or moisture. Be mindful of color transfer when wearing or using light-colored clothing or bags. Using darker colored clothing or bags may help to conceal any color transfer. Darker colors are particularly prone to fading, so we recommend washing them once before wearing. We recommend handwashing separately from other clothes. If using a washing machine, use a mild detergent, place the item in a laundry net, and wash on a gentle cycle separately from other clothes. However, machine washing may accelerate fabric damage and color fading. Avoid using a dryer and hang to dry in the shade. - Sizing with starch: For fabric products, we may use yarn sized with rice starch, which will typically wash out after about two washes.
