Therefore, it retains the tough fibers of the leather and natural **growth lines**, **insect marks**, **scars**, etc., making each product unique. The craftsman will do their best to avoid unsightly lines or place them in inconspicuous areas during production. These lines are **not considered defects** and should be acceptable before purchasing/ordering. 2. The original color of vegetable-tanned leather is **light skin tone** (natural color).
