[ One-of-a-kind, Ethical Product ]
A hand-woven shoulder bag created by the Karen people living in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Cotton threads are naturally dyed, then meticulously woven and hand-sewn over a long period.
This design features traditional patterns woven into the fabric, making it an even more intricate piece.
As the colors and patterns are left to the weaver's artistic sense, each bag is a precious, one-of-a-kind item that can only be encountered at this moment.
The indigo dye is made from fermented indigo leaves.
The appeal lies in the warm hues of natural dyeing and the richly expressive texture unique to hand-woven fabric.
Pair it with casual outfits, dresses, or natural-style ensembles to make it a focal point of your look.
.
With its simple design, free of pockets or zippers, it's conveniently spacious, holding more than it appears.
Light and easy to carry, its ample capacity makes it perfect for daily use.
.
The woven fabric softens with use, and the wide shoulder strap ensures comfort, reducing fatigue.
When not in use, it can be compactly folded for storage.
As it's made from natural materials, it's also perfect for outings to natural spots like campsites or beaches, and for outdoor events.
This hand-woven bag, filled with the charm of craftsmanship, is also recommended as a gift.
Incidentally, the Karen people use these bags to carry things like machetes and rice wrapped in banana leaves when they go to work in the fields or herd their water buffaloes, or to carry chewing tobacco and their wallets when they go out.
We hope you'll enjoy using it freely, perhaps imagining the mountain life of the Karen people.

Cotton (Naturally dyed, hand-woven, hand-sewn)
※ Cotton threads are starched using rice. The starch will typically wash out after about two washes, and the fabric will become softer.
※ Due to natural dyeing and hand-weaving, colors and textures may change depending on the usage environment. Darker colors, in particular, may fade slightly during the first few washes. We hope you will enjoy the aging process as if you were nurturing the item.
※ We recommend gently hand-washing with a neutral detergent separately and drying in the shade. If using a washing machine, wash separately in a net on a gentle cycle (hand-wash mode). However, machine washing may cause fabric damage and color fading.
※ Please check the care instructions below before purchasing.

※ About the Product.
We handcraft our products using natural materials. Therefore, weaving, stitching, colors, and patterns are not uniform like mass-produced items.
Furthermore, the dyeing, weaving, embroidery, and sewing techniques of the Karen tribe are traditionally passed down as household crafts rooted in daily life. They differ from professional techniques.
While we strive for accuracy, our products may not be perfect like those made by professionals or mass-produced items. We kindly ask for your understanding and purchase, considering this as the charm of handwork passed down from mother to child.

[Care for Plant-Dyed and Hand-Woven Products]
Plant-dyed products are less resistant to washing and sunlight compared to chemical dyes, and their colors will change with use. Please pay attention to the following points when caring for and using them.
Color transfer or fading may occur due to friction or moisture. Be careful of color transfer when wearing or using light-colored clothing or bags. Using dark-colored clothing or bags together may make color transfer less noticeable. Darker colors, in particular, are prone to fading, so we recommend washing them once before wearing.
When washing, we recommend hand-washing separately from other clothes. If using a washing machine, use a neutral detergent, place in a net, and wash on a gentle cycle separately from other clothes. However, machine washing may accelerate fabric damage and color fading. Avoid using a dryer and dry in the shade.
- About Starching.
For fabric products, threads may be starched using rice. The starch will typically wash out after about two washes.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us!
