Hand-woven Linen Stole [Saih-fu*07]
Material: 97% Linen, 3% Silk
Size: Approx. 57cm x 200cm (excluding 6cm fringe)
This large stole is hand-woven using the finest 120-count linen threads sourced from a Kyoto-based yarn dealer, dyed in various colors from a bleached thread base. It is so thin it's almost sheer, with a light, soft drape that gently conforms to your body without stiffness or bulk.
The design features a random check pattern woven with five colors of linen threads, subtly enhanced by interspersed silk threads.
The ultra-fine ramie linen yarn, half the thickness of standard linen yarn used in hand-weaving, is characterized by its minimal fuzz and lustrous sheen. With a meticulous warp density of 840 threads, it achieves an exceptionally supple texture. Linen stoles offer superior water and moisture absorption and quicker drying than cotton, ensuring a dry, smooth, and refreshing feel against the skin, making them suitable for three seasons from spring to autumn.
*Creases may form during shipping. They can be easily removed with a light steam iron.
*If you would like gift wrapping, please let us know. We offer this service free of charge.
