These are SDGs jewelry pieces featuring Kintsugi, upcycled from Arita ware. We reuse broken or chipped ceramics that would otherwise be discarded, applying Kintsugi techniques to transform them into accessories. Our concept is to create modern accessories that connect to the future, allowing people to feel close to nature and Japan's enduring traditions, thereby fostering new possibilities. We've paired elegant ceramic fragments, subtly revealing floral and leaf patterns, with gold-plated parts. They sway gently with movement, exuding a refined grace. The sides of the ceramic pieces are adorned with Kintsugi, so the gold accents are visible from the side, adding a touch of sophistication. These pieces are perfect as a stylish accent for both casual and elegant outfits. This work uses a modern, simplified Kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional Kintsugi using natural urushi lacquer, this method uses adhesive for bonding.
