Antique Collector's Edition Italian Decorative Nibs: A Set of Four Eiffel Tower Nibs in Two Styles and Two Metal Finishes

Eiffel Tower nibs have always been eye-catching. After years of collecting, I've gathered four different ones. Now, I'm presenting them as a set, exclusively shared with you on Pinkoi. In recent years, some pen manufacturers have attempted to recreate the Eiffel Tower nib. However, due to limitations in manufacturing technology and metal materials, these nibs tend to be flatter. Combined with plated finishes, ink adhesion becomes very difficult, making them challenging to write with. In contrast, the vintage Eiffel Tower nibs not only boast an elegant design but also feature holes that aid in ink storage. The nibs possess a certain degree of flexibility. While they may not be directly comparable to the writing performance of typical vintage nibs, they are still capable of handling everyday writing needs (with the exception of the Penna Astoria, which has less ink capacity). These nibs are presented as they were removed from their original packaging, without any washing or cleaning. It is highly probable that their writing performance will improve after a period of use. The collector's set offered here originates from Italy in the 1920s-1930s. The craftsmanship and materials from that era were unaffected by the pre-war preparations of World War II, representing the finest selections of the prosperous post-World War I period. In addition to the standard breather hole, the nibs feature decorative perforations (which also help with ink adhesion). The set includes two gold-toned and two silver-toned nibs in terms of metal finish. Two nibs have three holes, and two have seven holes.
