Bamboo Sake Set - hammered - Bar Glasses & Drinkware - Precious Metals Silver

Product Description

Bamboo Sake Set - Hammered #501300:Material Tin 100% #511300:Material Tin 100%、gold leaf This item is made using traditional casting techniques handed down for over 400 years in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. The sake cup and the pitcher are produced in collaboration with Kimio Nonaga, master chef of “Nihonbashi Yukari” which is the traditional Japanese cuisine restaurant in Tokyo. Each piece is hammered by skilled craftsmen. All products are handmade, handcast and hand finished with care resulting in unique variations in each piece. Care Advice - Wash with a mild detergent using a soft sponge after use. - Polish with pasty baking soda to bring back the luster. Notice for Gold Leaf / Colored Item - Keep away from fire or heat as the melting point is low. - Never polish with a metal cleaner or metallic sponge. - Do not use a microwave or dishwasher. - Do not keep something sour on/in the item for several hours to prevent discoloring of tin. Wash well after use. - As tin has a high thermal conductivity, the item itself will be hot when something hot is placed. Be careful not to burn yourself. - Do not store the item in the refrigerator more than 30 minutes or in the freezer to prevent deterioration or breakage of the item. - As the item made from 100% tin is malleable, you can change its shape to your liking. Excessive bending may lead to cracks or breakage of the item. - Crackling sound will occur when the item is bent. It is unique to tin and called “tin cry”.
