CELINE gold ring bag charm - key ring (ββΜ΄Μα΄βΜ΄Μβ), 100% authentic pre-owned item made in Spain!
If you have any questions, please message before placing an order. All sales are final.
For those familiar with Celine, you'll notice their accessories aren't abundant. Items like key rings and bag charms are rare compared to other brands.
While vintage charms aren't plentiful, some are exceptionally beautiful and charming. The ones I select typically offer high value and are in excellent condition!
Considering current prices, modern bag charms can cost at least HKD3,XXX / TWD14,XXX. Pre-owned pieces are less than half that price with remarkably high quality!
This piece is a horseshoe carriage buckle key ring charm, crafted entirely from metal and plated with K gold! The texture is superb, with clear engravings.
Vintage hardware has a substantial feel, not light or hollow. The buckle features a screw-lock design, which opens by unscrewing, allowing you to attach it anywhere.
Whether clipped onto a bag or keys, it's incredibly secure β it won't fall off. (I personally love screw-lock clasps because they are the most secure.)
ββΛΛ The charm is in excellent condition. Japanese records indicate it's an unworn item with minimal signs of use (truly very few).
This is a horseshoe carriage key charm. Upon close inspection, you might notice tiny marks, but they are completely invisible once attached to a bag or keys.
The carriage and the CELINE lettering are embossed, and the entire key ring boasts a rich, deep golden hue with no signs of gold loss. It shimmers beautifully!
The screw-lock design allows it to be securely attached to a bag as a charm or used as a key ring. The clasp mechanism has been tested and opens/closes normally without issue.
Overall, it shows very minimal signs of wear. Itβs rare to find one at such an attractive price point with such high value! Once it's gone, it's unlikely another will appear.

My preference for pre-owned bags stems largely from the superior quality of materials used in earlier eras compared to modern new releases.
In the past, most pre-owned items were⦠handmade, reflecting the warmth of craftsmanship rather than mass production.
Artisan techniques are undeniably more refined than machine processes, much like how everyone appreciates items crafted by skilled artisans!
However, today, the vast majority of processes are mechanized with minimal human assembly, losing the meticulousness of the past.
I find the simplest, most direct way to see this is by comparing the detailed patterns of recent brand reissues of classic monograms with genuine old-school monograms.
The level of detail in the monogram patterns alone is vastly different. If you love monograms, seek out pre-owned pieces! Truly!
In terms of style, older eras favored⦠simple, timeless designs. Many current new styles are actually reinterpretations of vintage classics.
Yet, new releases are priced higher than their vintage counterparts. New designs often build upon older styles, adding details or altering the design.
The final product tends to be more complex (or perhaps unusual......) than the original vintage piece. As we mature, we realize a fundamental truth:
simplicity endures! As one gets older, clothing choices often revert to basics because they are the most versatile.
The quality of materials in vintage pieces is superior to new ones. Anyone with an understanding of⦠leather can see this; the materials in new items are often of lower grade than vintage.
This is primarily because the cost of premium raw materials is now too high, and their availability is limited compared to the past, with Earth's resources dwindling.
Furthermore, brands back then did not have the widespread distribution they do now... Their clientele typically had a certain income level and specific expectations for the finished product.
The "fast fashion" culture of today did not exist; a bag was expected to be used for many years.
The difference between new and old eras is clearly visible in⦠hardware. Many new hardware components can oxidize and discolor after just one or two years of use,
but vintage pieces typically do not. This is due not only to higher-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship but also because hardware from earlier periods was often plated with genuine K gold!
It's worth noting that Chanel Vintage pieces are expensive for a reason; many of their clasps and chains contain real gold, certified by gold merchants!
This is why, even for vintage bags from the 60s and 70s, the hardware can still gleam today if properly maintained.
As for the new items available now, based on my knowledge, none of the brands use K gold in their hardware anymore, making them more susceptible to oxidation.
Many say that buying a vintage bag is a unique form of investment, as they rarely depreciate and often increase in value.
This is because the availability of pre-owned bags in good condition is constantly diminishing; each one that disappears is gone forever. Remember, they are all discontinued items.
The number that exist in the world is fixed, meaning they will only become rarer, more expensive, and harder to find.
Moreover, brands periodically increase their prices, and each adjustment can drive up the prices in the pre-owned market.
If a brand releases a "reissue," the reference or similar vintage pieces will see a sharp price increase!
Adding to this, in recent years, Japanese and Korean celebrities have favored vintage items. Once a particular style is seen on a celebrity, its price can skyrocket almost instantly.
This is because, during that period, many people will frantically search for that style or a similar alternative, causing the prices of those pieces to multiply...
Therefore, vintage is truly a case of enjoying it sooner rather than later; buying later means paying more (this isn't an advertising slogan... it's a truth in the pre-owned world...).
This is my personal experience; I regret not acquiring certain pieces earlier, and now they are either impossible to find or come with an astronomical price tag...
But the reality is, even if you know the price is exorbitant, you might have to pay it because waiting for the next one will only mean a higher price (unless the condition is poor).
I am often asked about bag maintenance (α’.Λ¬.α’). I will include small notes with detailed care instructions inside the bag, so you don't need to worry.
My personal habit is to also care for them when I organize my wardrobe during seasonal changes (which makes each season change a major undertaking...|||).
Pre-owned bags aren't particularly troublesome. When you're new to them, it's just about getting used to regular maintenance and cherishing your bag. Once it becomes a habit, it's not difficult.
The materials in pre-owned bags are inherently excellent. As long as they aren't used roughly and are stored properly, they can easily last another decade and be passed down to your daughter!
Every pre-owned bag is one that I love and have collected, so I hope you will love it too and preserve it for years to come βͺοΈ *.γ
