Each item is meticulously handcrafted by local grandmothers and aunties, imbued with the full spirit of Taiwan. **|| Rush Grass Weaving Process ||** Growth | 3-4 months of growth Sun-drying | After harvesting, sun-dried for about 5-7 days until golden yellow, ensuring complete moisture removal. Grass Sorting | Categorized by length, with some grass tips removed. Grass Selection | Average thickness is chosen before weaving. Root Trimming | Unsprouted leaves at the grass roots are removed. Grass Beating | The structure of the grass is broken down to make it soft and pliable for weaving. For finer items, two additional steps are included: "Grass Splitting" (dividing the triangular rush grass into two to three finer strands) and "Grass Kneading" (rubbing to remove the white fibers from within the grass). **|| A Little Story About Taiwan Rush Grass ||** Grandmothers and mothers used to talk about how people would "raise" grass in the past.
