"Dots up close, a photo from afar"
This T-shirt is hand-printed using the silk-screen technique, with halftone processing applied to streetscape photographs taken by the artist. It features a visual trick where it appears as a solid cluster of "dots" up close, and resolves into a landscape when viewed from afar. The simple design of a white body with black ink merges the calculated beauty of digital halftones with the warmth of handcraftsmanship. Each piece from Plusmaru® is designed to be worn as a "memory" of a city's landscape, not just a record, featuring a signature hashtag that signifies its identity.

◆About Halftone Processing
A printing technique that expresses shades and gradations of an image by varying the "size and density of dots" using a single color ink. It creates a visual effect where the image appears as a collection of dots up close, but emerges as a single landscape photograph when viewed from a distance.
**Tomoyuki Takahashi | Printmaker**
Born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1986, lives in Tokyo. After experiences in apparel and various design fields, he independently established his silk-screen technique. Based on streetscape photographs he has taken himself, he creates posters, T-shirts, and other works with Plusmaru®, expressing cityscapes not merely as records but as "memories," using a unique method that fuses the calculated aesthetics of digital halftones with the tactile feel of analog printmaking.
