LOMO plant, 1970 INDUSTAR-11M 300mm F9 lens for Your large format camera... just one of Soviet TESSAR copies ABOUT ITEM'S ORIGIN (You can SKIP it!) Sorry, I am not an expert in old folding cameras and lenses, but I'll try to describe the lens which I own for auction... This is a large lens issued at USSR in 1974 at famous GOMZ (later on renamed to LOMO) plant at Leningrad city. You can see two versions of the lens, 300 mm and 450 mm. Really I don't know for which device it was issued, but it looks that it was made for large format camera. ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELLENT The lens is enough clean for taking photos, without air bulbs, separations and fungus, but some cleaning marks and some dust inside can be found. The lens is in fine condition cosmetically. Aperture rotates smoothly. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Brand: LOMO. * Model: Industar-11M. * Coated optics without Russian symbol "n" (it sounds like P=prosvetlenije, this symbol was removed since beginning of 1960s, when all Russian optics became coated). * Good correction of chromatical and and spherical aberrations. It allows to use the lens for reproduction shots. * The lens is signed: LOMO I-11M 1:9 F=30cm No 701332 * Focus: 300 mm * Format: will cover up to 13x18 cm format. * Aperture: scale begins at 9.0, up to 90, no clicks. * Aperture consist off 18 elements and provides very accurate circular shape at all installed meanings. * Additional aperture with fixed meaning or with a special shape can be placed into a special hole. * Resolution (pairs of lines per 1 mm): not less than 35 in the center and 14 on the edge of frame. * Front optical distance 293.77mm. * Rear optical distance 277.45mm. * Filter mount is about 55mm external spring-mount (push-up) filters only. * Dimensions: length 41.5mm, diameter 64.4mm. * Weight: (lens only): 0.2 kg. * Camera's mount requires additional fastening nut with holes for screw SPM 53x0.75mm. * The lens was manufactured at famous LOMO plant at Leningrad city in 1971.
