Typical materials include antiqued gold-tone metal, enamel, cabochon stones, frosted finishes, and Aurora Borealis rhinestones. Most pieces are hallmarked with the Florenza logo. Admired by upper-class women for its rich classical aesthetic and exquisite quality, the brand ceased operations in 1981 following an unfortunate car accident involving the founder, making its surviving pieces even more precious to collectors.
