The largest "sea thorn beast" in Taiwan's offshore waters appears!
On March 5, 1909, Tokyo's Asahi Shimbun published a fascinating report titled "Taiwan Offshore Monster."
The British steamship "Sultan" departed from Singapore, passed through Hong Kong, and was on its way to Yokohama. While sailing in the offshore waters of Taiwan, Captain Herbert and the crew witnessed a legendary marine creature-"the sea thorn beast".
This mysterious creature has a row of obvious spines on its back. It is about two hundred feet long and fifteen feet high. If this giant sea monster really existed, it would undoubtedly have been a shocking experience for the witnesses at the time.
Why didn't the sea monster appear again? I guess it may have been submerged and ready to evolve into Godzilla...
