【Kenya / 300g】Endebess / SL28, SL34, Batian, Ruiru11 / Natural - Coffee - Fresh Ingredients

Product Description

Kenya is often seen as the epitome of stoic African specialty coffee. Now, something rare has joined our lineup—a natural-processed Kenyan. In a country where smallholder farmers typically deliver cherries to cooperative factories for fermentation and washing, this coffee is unique. Grown and managed entirely at Endebess Estate, it represents the rarity of a fully natural-processed Kenyan coffee. Unlike the bright, citrus-driven acidity of most washed Kenyans, this cup reveals a different face. It still carries that red-fruit brightness, but is enriched with balanced sweetness and a complex, bold aroma. We suggest comparing it with a washed Kenyan to appreciate the contrast, but first, we invite you to savor this unusual and remarkable natural Kenyan. [ About this Coffee ] Origin: Kenya Region: Trans-Nzoia County Farm: Endebess Estate Producer: Endebess Estate Altitude: 1,400m Variety: SL28, SL34, Batian, Ruiru11 Process: Natural Tasting Notes: Grapefruit, American cherry, Grape Importer: ORIGIN COUNTRIES [ Importer Information ] Trans-Nzoia County lies at the foot of Mt. Elgon, along the western border of Kenya with Uganda. Endebess Estate has been producing coffee here since the 1940s. The estate owner emphasizes social responsibility, supporting worker housing renovations and student scholarships. Looking forward, they aim to expand community welfare and pursue certifications, alongside infrastructure development. Cherries are handpicked one by one, selecting only ripe fruit, then dried slowly on African beds. They are turned at least four times daily to ensure even drying, a process that takes 21–35 days for consistent quality.
