How to deal with yourself in a space where the distance between people is so close? What kind of dilemma do you need to face? How to understand the relationship between yourself and society? What are their thoughts? Rex Koo's comic book "Strange Strangers in the Walled City" was created in 2018. In a dreamy future and a dreamy high-density city, a group of office workers are also undergoing a life-and-death transformation. Some people intend to resist the system on their own, some continue to live as usual regardless of world changes, and a cat tries to bring its owner back to life. Three people who don't know each other are stuck in a period of time and space of new and old, broken and standing, black and white reversed. Each with the belief in the direction of the heart and the belief in the direction of the body, silently creating their own future in this city. What are the thoughts in everyone's mind? Rex Koo has been starting to create his comic collection《Strange Tales of Walled City》since 2018. In an imaginary future of a high-density city, a group of workers are experiencing a life-and-death transformation. Some people intend to resist the system with their own strength. Some ignore any changes in the world and continue to live as usual. There is a cat trying to bring its owner back to life. Three strangers are stuck amid a spacetime with mixtures of new vs old, broken vs recreation and right vs wrong. He loved pop culture since he was a child, and his style was deeply influenced by pop art and pop culture in the 1980s and 1990s. He began to work in graphic design and illustration in the millennium, and started to create as an independent creator in 2013. He has successively published three picture books "Only You can take the Western Classics", "A Loved One in the Past" and "Seven Holes Bleed and Seven Holes Bleed to Die". In 2018, he started to create comics in his spare time. After Typhoon Mangkhut began to conceive a fantasy story with Hong Kong as the stage, it took about a year before and after to complete the first episode of "Tales of the Walled City".
