Brand Story
In the creative journey of Ishimi-bo, fire and earth have always been the starting point of dialogue.
The creator encountered wood firing amidst the mountains and forests. The crackling sound of burning wood, the traces left by falling ash, all felt like whispers from nature. It was an experience of breathing with the earth, which later became the source of inspiration.
The pandemic disrupted the original rhythm, and the kiln fires of wood firing were forced to pause. Ishimi-bo began experimenting with various glazes, but they always felt like they were missing a soul. Until one day, they brought back the ash left from wood firing, washed and calcined it, and then placed it in their own gas kiln. At that moment, "Colors of the Earth" was born—the works recreated the essence of wood firing while embodying the energy of nature.
