Mouse King Brooch

This is a brooch inspired by the Mouse King from the ballet, The Nutcracker. Using single-strand embroidery thread on a thin fabric base, each stitch is meticulously embroidered. The design began with imagining what the Mouse King, a character often depicted with a low-saturation, villainous presence in dark colors like black in the ballet, would wear if he were the main character. With slightly muted green and red embroidery threads, a sophisticated Christmas feel is created. Fluffy yarn, typically used for amigurumi, is finely attached to the collar, resulting in a charming yet stylish king. The back is made of white synthetic leather. A rotating pin-type clasp is used for the brooch. The needle can only be moved when worn, and can be locked to prevent it from sticking out otherwise. The total weight is approximately 4g (equivalent to four 1-yen coins), making it a very lightweight brooch.
