This stoneware has a simple texture and color reminiscent of natural clay. It is shaped into a deep bowl with a gently curved rim, and then decorated with brushstroke patterns using colorful slips. The design is inspired by the warm spring breeze in a garden, and the colors change depending on the viewing angle, allowing you to enjoy various visual expressions. The glaze used is a soft, semi-matte finish. Bowls with rims are easy to grip when carrying and convenient for stacking with other tableware for storage. Perfect for rice dishes, noodles, stews, soups, and simmered meals. The form is designed to accommodate a wide variety of dishes. We hope you will enjoy it with your favorite culinary creations. All production stages, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, are done by hand in my home studio, equipped with a small electric kiln and electric potter's wheel. While mass production is not possible, each piece has its own unique character, and you can enjoy the charm that comes from being handmade. The item you receive will be the same as pictured. The base of the bowl has been sanded to minimize scratching your table. I create a variety of ceramics in different colors and shapes, constantly exploring new combinations of glazes and clays. To prevent this, we apply a water-repellent treatment to all our ceramic tableware before shipping, so there is no need for initial soaking (me-doki). This treatment requires 2-3 days, hence our shipping timeframe of 5 days from order placement. If you do not require this water-repellent treatment, please inform us at the time of purchase. - Cutlery shown in product images is not included. - Product images are edited and shot to be as true to the actual product as possible. However, colors may appear different depending on your monitor settings and lighting conditions.
