Silver bracelet with two handmade wrapped rolls with textured surface

The bracelet is made of silver herringbone chain that closes with simple handmade silver hook. The two roll-pieces that the chain carries were crafted from a silver strip that we textured on surface with natural materials (wooden tree bark, straw, dry teak tree leaves, etc). The silver strip was thinned to roughly around 1 mm thickness by passing it into a rolling mill together with various materials that left the surface textured with beautiful, deeply embossed, natural patterns. Two pieces of silver strip were cut and then simply "rolled" (wrapped to overlap by means of round pliers) into the final shape. The two rolls are of different width (one approx. 12 mm, the other 17 mm) and have uneven (smooth to the touch) edges, so the final result has a very organic feel, that emphasises nicely the rough-looking, irregular natural surface. The clean, precisely fabricated bracelet silver chain contrasts nicely with the two heavy, handmade roll-pieces. We also have a matching necklace in our shop. Because of the manual process of texturing the metal we can never recreate 100% same surface, however we will make sure the final effect is about the same. Uniqueness of the product is what makes it special, as no two bracelets can be exactly the same. Our products are hand crafted in 98% Silver by Thai Karen hill-tribe artisans. The Karen are a group of ethnic peoples who reside primarily in southern and southeastern Burma and in northern and north-eastern Thailand. Thai and Burmese hill tribes can be traced back to the 12th century when they are said to have originated from Tibet. With a higher silver content than sterling silver, Karen silver has a weight, bright satin color and feel, all of its own. Every piece is handmade and individual. The product comes in a traditional Thai packaging and includes tracking number for safer shipping.
