The design, cut into a shape close to a diamond with curves on the front, is original. The opposing parts have the same cut, but the adjacent parts have a traditional double yari cut to create a two-sided design. When tilted 90 degrees, it features a traditional double yarirai cut. Within the wine glass-shaped cut at the top, two other cuts are cut alternately to give it a duality. These are the traditional Hakkaku Kagome pattern and the traditional Kikutsunagi pattern. Both of these cuts were quite difficult, and anyone who sees them can tell without even being told that they are high-quality works. The mating parts have the same design, but the vertical cut at the bottom, which emphasizes the transparency, is the same for all four pieces. Rather than thinking simply, "Since the top and middle rows are all pairs, the bottom row should all be pairs as well," we decided to unify the glasses with the same cut, considering the beauty of the glass.
