We value its relaxed, natural texture that allows you to enjoy "aging" rather than "deterioration." As it is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving flaws" may appear, resembling loose threads at first glance. While these are unavoidable with the use of old machinery, we make every effort to minimize them through thorough factory inspections and careful fabric cutting, using them in less conspicuous areas when found. However, due to the nature of the machinery, complete elimination is not possible. We hope you will appreciate these weaving flaws as a mark of authenticity, a testament to the creation process using vintage shuttle looms.
