❍ About This Piece From the washstand to the work desk, we wanted to create a soap dish that is truly practical and beautiful. Through our own use, we slowly explored and refined it, with a simple form and a touch of thoughtful design. It perfectly holds a bar of soap and allows water to drain away just right. Not flashy, but genuinely useful. We chose earthenware, a clay with slightly coarse particles. The finished pieces aren't as delicate as porcelain, but they possess a natural simplicity and honesty that you can feel and see. The surface may have some specks of color, pinholes, or small glaze cracks – these are not flaws, but natural marks formed during the firing process. ❍ Material Earthenware, Glaze ❍ Dimensions The soap dish is specifically designed for handmade soaps, measuring approximately 8 × 6 × 2.5 cm. Its size is just right, allowing your soap to rest securely and be used with ease. (Each piece is handmade, so dimensions may vary slightly.) ❍ Craftsmanship Notes Each piece is fired at high temperatures twice, ensuring durability. Occasional pinholes, natural glaze variations, or fine crackles on the surface are characteristics naturally formed by the earthenware material and the firing process. As handcrafted vessels, the curves and glaze distribution of each piece will vary slightly, which is part of its unique character. ❍ Packaging & Sustainability All our shipments are packaged using recycled bubble wrap and cardboard boxes. While it may not be exquisitely presented, for us, giving every resource a second life is the better choice. | About Handmade | Each piece is shaped and glazed by hand. The glaze flows naturally, and the lines are distinct. Minor crackles formed during firing do not affect usability, so please use with peace of mind.
