All jadeite pieces are sourced from Guangdong's major trading hubs, Sihui and Jieyang, from reputable merchants. Each piece undergoes inspection by instruments and professionals. After sourcing, we examine each bead under a UV light and randomly select batches for appraisal at the Taipei Gemstone Testing Center.
To obtain a Taiwanese inspection report for the Qin Cui series, buyers will need to cover the testing fee.
The Chun Cui series comes with one Taiwanese certificate.
|░ Why We Love Jadeite ░|
"Jade nourishes the body for three years; jade nourishes a person for a lifetime."
Crystals possess powerful energy fields, but they require regular cleansing. Jadeite, a natural hard jade, is known for its gentle and soothing properties. While its energy field may not be as strong as crystals, jadeite's inherent energy is exceptionally pure and clean, offering only beneficial influences and dispelling negative energy.
Currently, over 40 minerals have been identified in jadeite. Its chemical composition is sodium aluminum silicate—NaAl[Si2O6], often containing trace elements such as calcium (Ca), chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), manganese (Mn), magnesium (Mg), and iron (Fe).
White jadeite typically contains no impurities.
Red jadeite contains trivalent iron.
Black jadeite contains over 2% chromium.
Green jadeite contains over 2% chromium and divalent iron.
Yellow jadeite contains iron.
Purple jadeite contains manganese.
Blue jadeite is similar to green jadeite but is rarer.
"Calcium" (Ca), a trace element, is the most abundant mineral in the human body, primarily found in bones and teeth, with its presence also in blood and muscles. Calcium acts as a vital regulator of bodily functions, playing a crucial physiological role throughout all life stages, from youth to adulthood and old age. It is an indispensable macro-mineral for maintaining health and longevity.
"Chromium" (Cr), a trace element, is significantly important for maintaining normal physiological functions. It helps prevent cardiovascular diseases and regulate blood sugar. The human body cannot synthesize chromium and must obtain it through natural foods or supplements. For individuals with type 2 diabetes, chromium can enhance insulin sensitivity. It aids overweight individuals in managing cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Those experiencing high stress levels tend to lose chromium faster than usual, making it particularly important for these groups.
"Nickel" (Ni) is an essential trace element for the human body. An adult typically contains 6-10 mg of nickel, mainly concentrated in the brain and liver. Nickel is absorbed in the intestines, with unabsorbed nickel being primarily excreted through feces. Only 10-20% of nickel from food is absorbed by the body.
"Manganese" (Mn), another group of trace elements, helps protect the body. Jadeite also contains manganese. Long-term wear of jadeite can promote blood circulation, accelerate metabolism, alleviate aging, and prevent certain age-related diseases.
"Magnesium" (Mg) is another macro-mineral essential for the human body. Like calcium, magnesium is a necessary nutrient for normal bone growth. Sufficient magnesium levels effectively regulate calcium and maintain normal neuromuscular function, with both minerals having a synergistic effect. Magnesium can inhibit platelet aggregation, so deficiency may increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. Furthermore, magnesium deficiency can lead to chronic inflammation within the body, linked to the onset of many chronic conditions, particularly cardiovascular disease mortality. Some studies suggest that individuals who drink hard water, which has relatively higher calcium and magnesium content, have lower mortality rates from cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, maintaining normal blood magnesium levels is associated with a lower risk of atherosclerosis.
"Iron" (Fe) assists enzymes in biochemical reactions and metabolism, making it an essential trace element. An adult typically contains 3-5 grams of iron, with 60-70% distributed in red blood cells. Other cells also require iron to function properly.
Medical research indicates that jadeite possesses potent therapeutic capabilities. Long-term wear of jadeite can not only prevent diseases but also alleviate or even treat certain conditions.
Treating Chest Tightness: Individuals with weaker constitutions sometimes experience chest tightness. Wearing a jadeite pendant can help alleviate this common ailment. The pendant emits energy that stimulates specific acupoints on the chest, known as "Long Han" and "Shen Fu," which through continuous massage, can provide a lasting remedy.
Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory: In TCM, jadeite is believed to "clear internal heat, nourish the lungs and heart, benefit hair and skin, fortify the five organs, calm the spirit, promote blood circulation, and enhance vision and hearing."
Regularly wearing jadeite jewelry allows its trace elements to be absorbed by the skin, aiding in the coordination and balance of various bodily functions.
Nourishing the Skin: Jadeite jewelry, whether necklaces, earrings, or bracelets, comes into direct contact with the skin. The mineral elements in jadeite are absorbed into the body, nourishing the skin and imparting a fairer, more radiant complexion.
Cooling Relief: The naturally cool touch of jadeite provides a soothing and cooling sensation. In the Tang Dynasty, Consort Yang Guifei would hold jade in her mouth during summer to relieve heat. Since then, summer has become associated with refreshing coolness. Jade pillows, bracelets, beds, and pendants are used to combat the heat.
The reasons above are scientifically-backed. An additional, non-scientific yet cherished benefit is the inexplicable sense of comfort and solace derived from gazing at jadeite when feeling down or stressed, offering a feeling of reassurance.
