This is an SDGs-conscious jewelry piece featuring kintsugi on upcycled Arita ware.
Broken or chipped ceramics, no longer in use, are given new life through upcycling and kintsugi repair, transforming them into accessories.
Our concept is to create modern accessories that connect to the future, allowing you to feel close to nature and Japan's enduring traditions, thereby fostering new possibilities.
This ceramic fragment features an elegant navy blue Japanese pattern.
The sides of the fragment are adorned with kintsugi, so the gold accent shines even from the side, adding a touch of refined elegance.
Wear it as a statement piece to elevate both casual and elegant outfits.
Length: Ceramic fragment: 13 x 12mm
Weight: Although a ceramic fragment, it is lightweight and comfortable to wear ◎
As this is a one-of-a-kind accessory, it makes for a perfect gift.
Consider it for a special present for your loved ones.
*As each piece is unique, we cannot accept reorders.
*We will send you the item shown in the photo. However, if it has already been sold elsewhere, it may be produced to order. In such cases, please be aware that there may be individual differences in color, pattern, and size for the ceramic fragments and natural stones shown in the photos.
* "Kintsugi" is a traditional Japanese repair technique that mends broken or chipped pottery using lacquer and gold powder. This artwork is created using a modern, simplified kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional kintsugi which uses sap from the lacquer tree, this method uses adhesive for the main bonding.
For the kintsugi part, we use lacquer (a commercially produced paint, not raw lacquer) and gold powder (brass powder, pearl powder), with UV resin also used for reinforcement.
