She tilts her head sweetly, a finger pressed to her full lips, her expression and posture a delicate balance of vulnerability and playfulness. It feels as though she's conveying who she is, while also asking who you are. It's a feeling I believe many viewers can relate to. The artwork captures an image that, while showing a moment of vulnerability, also firmly asserts a stance in contemporary society. The artist's signature red hair often appears in her works. Viewing the world as an accumulation of energy, the artist uses a brush pen, familiar to Japanese sensibilities, to construct graphics with simple, delicate lines reminiscent of ukiyo-e compositions.
