Vintage German Gritzner mechanical sewing machine with original wooden case

Vintage German Gritzner mechanical sewing machine with original wooden case. Max Carl Gritzner founded his sewing machines, bicycles and motorcycles factory in Durlach in 1872. It ended up becoming the largest sewing machine factory in Europe. This machine has serial number #323200, and it was manufactured mid first half of the last century. With our limited knowledge of sewing, we got this machine to stitch a piece of cloth. This does not mean we claim it be fully functioning and durable as it is a vintage item. We therefore recommend it is used for decorative purposes only and not its originally intended purpose. The bobbin winder ring is missing. The tool compartment has some spare needles. The metal body of the machine shows signs of aging and usage, such as surface marks, wear on the decals and oxidation due to aging. The wooden base and case have some surface marks. The screw that bolts the metal body to the wooden base is missing, and therefore only the hinges at the backside hold the metal to the wood.
