[Handmade in Japan] A6 Book Cover

Thank you for looking! ︎☺︎ This is a book cover designed for Japanese 文庫 (bunko) sized books, crafted from the split leather of Italian leather. Each one is meticulously hand-stitched, with every needle carefully placed. It's a free-size type that allows for thickness adjustment, comfortably fitting books up to approximately 30mm thick. Please note, however, that it is not compatible with larger-sized 文庫 (bunko) books such as those from Hayakawa Bunko. ■ Material We use the split leather from Italian vegetable-tanned leather. This leather is rich in oil, giving it a moist texture that feels familiar from the very first touch. Yet, it's not too soft, offering a pleasant firmness and resilience. For the hand-stitching thread, we use 100% natural linen waxed thread from the Taiwanese brand "Rikka". Rikka threads are high-quality, meeting the non-toxic and non-fading requirements of physical and chemical tests by SGS, one of the world's largest testing organizations. ■ Colors Green Camel ■ Size When unfolded: Height 164mm × Width 325mm ■ Please Note As leather is a natural material, it may feature inherent scratches or wrinkles.
