Hand washing is recommended, or place the garment in a laundry bag and machine wash. Air dry naturally after washing. For the first wash, it is best to wash dark fabrics separately. Thereafter, please wash dark and light colors separately. Do not use bleach. Wrinkles are a natural characteristic of linen after washing. Dry cleaning or hand washing is recommended. Gently smooth the fabric after washing and air dry. Then, iron at a high temperature to restore its flatness. About Comme forêt / We begin with a natural and fresh style for our apparel. Original designs are created, patterns are drafted, and samples are made and modified using two home sewing machines. Occasionally, we commission a skilled seamstress, a senior auntie, for production. We do not mass-produce; our clothing is made in very small batches locally in Taipei. We aim to recapture the beauty of small-batch, handcrafted clothing, designing comfortable and elegant pieces, much like the original intention of making clothes for oneself, family, or friends.
