|**Design**|
This shirt features a slightly shorter length, creating a refined, sharp formal look. The collar is deconstructed for a versatile interpretation: buttoned up, it forms a sleek stand collar, while unbuttoned, it drapes naturally to the sides, offering two distinctly different styles. The back panel extends into a cape-like flap, adding dimension and layers to the design, while subtly enhancing the wearer’s elegant aura. The sleeves are equipped with drawstrings, allowing the wearer to adjust them to their preference—either relaxed for a classic shirt look or cinched to shorten the sleeves, introducing an element of intricate design and sophistication.
This shirt pairs effortlessly with high-waisted trousers to highlight a polished, structured silhouette, or with a soft skirt to create an elegant, layered look filled with delicate details. It’s a versatile piece that easily transitions from everyday wear to special occasions, making it a must-have fashion item.
|**Inspiration**|
The collection drew inspiration from Kabuki culture, a group known for their extravagant attire and unconventional behavior during Japan's late Sengoku period. These individuals, referred to as "Kabukimono," shaped contemporary pop culture with their bold and unconventional lifestyle. Reflecting on the present, fashion continues to be driven by innovation and rebellion, INF wants to invite everyone to become modern-day Kabukimono.
The clothing structure draws on traditional Japanese silhouettes, such as haori, hakama, and jinbei, as the foundation, and deconstructs them with modern pieces like suits and shirts. Designs like kimono bomber jackets and jinbei suits strike a perfect balance between vintage and innovation. In line with INF’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, the collection uses the highest-quality materials and tailored designs, allowing the garments to adapt to various occasions, reducing waste and fashion excess. As designer Kuo Wei puts it: "We aim to prevent waste before it happens, enhancing the brand's sustainability impact."
