Therefore, I apply a water-sealing treatment to all pottery before it is sent to you. Pieces that have undergone water-sealing treatment do not require initial seasoning at home. You can use them immediately after a light rinse upon arrival. Items already treated will be shipped within 3 days. Those requiring treatment after your order is placed will be shipped within 5 days. - Water Sealing Agent: Flip Coat - Effects: Improved waterproof and moisture-proof properties, reduced penetration of oils and acids, decreased staining and soiling, prevention of cracking from freezing, inhibition of mold and algae growth, prevention of seepage into crazing. - Features: Water-soluble, colorless, odorless, non-flammable, mildly alkaline.
